Nawaz Sharif leaves for London to meet ailing wife

Islamabad, Aug 30 (IBNS): Former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday left for London city in the UK, media reports said.

He left for the nation to meet his wife  ailing wife Kulsoom Nawaz.

"The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader will be abroad with his wife and sons during Eid," Geo News reported.

Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, wife of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, has been diagnosed with throat cancer, doctors in the United Kingdom told Geo News had earlier reported.

The doctors, who are treating her, has reportedly said she could be treated.
