Morocco stops all int'l flights over COVID-19 concerns

Rabat/Xinhua/UNI: Morocco on Sunday decided to stop all international flights over COVID-19 concerns.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that this decision is part of the efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Earlier this week, Morocco closed the borders with Ceuta and Melilla, Spain's two North African enclaves, and stoped all passengers' sea links with Spain, Italy and France.

The North African county expanded on Saturday its measures to contain the spread of COVID-19 by banning mass gatherings attended by more than 50 people, including weddings, family parties and Friday prayers.
