London attack: Indian Cricket team's hotel in lockdown

London, June 4 (IBNS): Following the terror attack in London, the Indian cricket team's hotel in Birmingham has been under lockdown to take proper security measure, media reports said.

The traffic near the hotel area has also been curbed.

The India team is in UK for the ICC Champions Trophy 2017.

In a terror attack in London again, at least six people were killed on Saturday night while three of the suspected attackers who wore fake explosive vests to scare away police an ploughed a car into pedestrians were shot dead by police, said UK police.

The incidents occurred at London Bridge and Borough Market when in one of the attacks a white van ploughed into pedestrians on London Bridge at about 10.08 pm, said reports.

The suspects reportedly also stabbed people and a police officer after jumping out of the van.

More than 30 people were injured.

London's Metropolitan Police confirmed six deaths.
