Karachi: School van catches fire; student, driver hurt

Karachi, Jan 25 (IBNS): A school girl and a driver of a bus suffered minor burns when their vehicle caught fire in Karachi city of Pakistan on Saturday.

The incident reportedly occurred in Korangi area of the city.

According to Senior Superintendent of Police Korangi Ali Raza, the van driver and a schoolgirl received minor burns in the incident that occurred in Zaman Town, reported Geo News.

A short circuit might be the cause of the fire, as per initial reports revealed.

“Police officials standing nearby removed the children from the van and dropped them home," the SSP told Geo News.
