Kabul suicide attack kills 5

Kabul, June 30 (IBNS) At least five people were killed as a suicide bomber targeted a convoy of foreign forces with his explosives-laden car in Afghanistan's Kabul city on Tuesday, media reports said.

According to reports, 20 others were injured in the attack.

Brig. Gen. Humayun Aini, the 119 police helpline chief, confirmed to Pajhwok Afghan News that it was a suicide attack that targeted foreign forces on the airport road.

The injured people have been rushed to hospital for treatment.

"Taliban insurgents have claimed responsibility for the attack," Pajhwok Afghan News reported.
