Imran Khan govt's ill treatment irked Saudi Arabia and China: Maulana Fazlur

| @indiablooms | Dec 24, 2020, at 05:14 am

Islamabad/UNI: PDM chief and president of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Wednesday said that Pakistan today is getting more and more isolated and countries like Saudi Arabia and China are irked as the Imran Khan led government treated them disrespectfully.

While addressing a rally at Khyber Pakhtunwa's Mardan city today, he critisised the PTI led government's foreign policy.

He said that China gave Pakistan a loan to repay its debts to the Saudis at an interest rate of 14 per cent.

He claimed that China charged such a high interest rate as the government had "treated them badly".

"You have destroyed the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and ruined Chinese investment in Pakistan. What else can you expect from the world when you treat them as such?" he said.

Maulana claimed that the economies of Afghanistan, Iran, Malaysia and Indonesia are faring better than Pakistan.

He promised that the PDM will march to Islamabad to demand the Prime Minister Imran Khan's resignation.

"We will not rest till we remove the government," he said.

Maulana fazlur Rehman claimed that Imran Khan had vindicated the opposition's opinion that he was incapable of running a government.
