People includes former UK consulate worker Simon Cheng, well-known activist Nathan Law and US citizen Samuel Chu, Ray Wong , Lau Hong ,and Wayne Chan, Chinese state media reported.

The development comes after legislative elections scheduled for September were delayed for a year by Hong Kong's government on Friday.
