Heliopter crash in Russia kills 6

Moscow, Apr 11 (IBNS): At least six people were killed when a helicopter in which they were travelling crashed in Khabarovsk area of Russia, media reports said on Wednesday.

The helicopter that crashed in the Far Eastern city of Khabarovsk had six crew members on board, none of them survived, the Far Eastern transport investigation department of the Russian Investigative Committee was quoted saying by TASS news agency.

A criminal case has been reportedly lodged in connection with the case.

"The investigation looks into three major versions of the accident: weather conditions, technical malfunction or pilot error," the department said in a statement as quoted as saying by TASS.

The incident occurred at about 11:00 local time.

Investigators have reached the scene of the event.
