Islamabad: At least four terrorists were killed by Pakistani security forces during two different intelligence-based operations in Hassan Khel area of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan district and in Parodh Mountains near Balochistan’s Nushki district, Express Tribune reported on Wednesday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the first operation was launched on Monday, June 6, in K-P, on the reported presence of terrorists.

“During intense exchange of fire, two terrorists were killed,” the military said, adding that weapons and ammunition was also recovered from their possession.

Separately, during the exchange of fire, two terrorists allegedly belonging to the Baloch Republic Army were killed.

They were identified as Nadeem and Shehzad Alam who, according to the ISPR, were involved in recent attacks on security forces in Kharan and surrounding areas.
