Ex-Hong Kong lawmaker sent to jail again

Hong Kong: A Hong Kong court has revoked bail for former lawmaker and Democratic Party chairman, Wu Chi-wai, who was charged with joining an alleged unauthorized demonstration last year.

The court has remanded him to custody.

Bail was revoked at West Kowloon Court, reports Hong Kong Standard.

Wu is accused of not providing his British National (Overseas) passport to the court, following an order to surrender all of his travel documents by December 18, reported the newspaper.

He faces three charges in connection with the demonstration.
