Donald Trump slams media as 'fake'

| | Jan 09, 2017, at 04:00 pm
Washington, Jan 9 (IBNS): US President-elect Donald Trump's perpetual fight with the press continued as the former slammed the latter as fake.

Reacting to a report about Mexico's involvement in building the wall in-between the USA and the former, an angry Trump tweeted, "Dishonest media says Mexico won't be paying for the wall if they pay a little later so the wall can be built more quickly. Media is fake!"

Ever since the inception of his election campaign, Trump has been at loggerheads with the American media.

He has reportedly had a fiery exchange of words with a presenter and allegedly mocked a disabled media person, during the campaign.

Trump will take oath as the 45th President of the United States of America on Jan 20.
