Donald Trump likely to release his wish list on NAFTA soon

Washington/Ottawa, July 18 (IBNS): After repeated complaints, US President Donald Trump is expected to release his wish list on North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) soon, media reports said.

NAFTA is an agreement which was signed by Canada, Mexico and United States on trade, which came into effect since 1994.

For last two years, Trump repeatedly complained about the NAFTA, aiming to bring about certain changes to the deal.

The Trump administration is required to publish a set of objectives before entering into any kind of negotiations.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, on this issue, said: "I can’t imagine that we would start negotiating before the negotiations actually start."

"We’re going to be responsible about this, to be thoughtful and responsible in how we engage the administration" he added.

Canada devised the strategy of being patient and check what proposals Trump administration brings.
