Dhaka, Sept 23 (IBNS): Five militants and a suspect, who were killed in connection with the Gulshan cafe attack on July 1, have been buried in Bangladesh.

The charitable organisation Anjuman Mufidul Islam took charge of the bodies from the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) and buried them at Jurain Graveyard on Thursday afternoon, officials told bdnews24.com.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia told the news website: "No one from among their relatives had contacted us to claim the bodies."

On July 1, two policemen and 20 hostages, mostly foreigners, were killed in an attack that took place at the Holey Artisan Bakery, located in Dhaka's diplomatic enclave, Gulshan.
