Gaza/IBNS/UNI: The death toll in Gaza exceeded 11,000 since the Israel-Hamas conflict broke out on October 7, Palestinian's health ministry announced on Friday.

"The death toll of the Israeli aggression rose to 11,078, including 4,506 children, 3,027 women, 678 elderly people, and 27,490 others who were injured," Ashraf Al-Qedra, spokesman of the ministry, said in a press statement.

He said that the ministry received 2,700 reports of missing persons under the rubble of destroyed buildings, including 1,500 children.

He pointed out that "Israeli violations against the health system led to the death of 198 health personnel and the destruction of 53 ambulances, while 135 health institutions were targeted and 21 hospitals and 47 primary care health centers were out of service."

He warned that hospitals in Gaza could soon be completely out of service as a result of the lack of fuel entry.
