Toronto, July 30 (IBNS): Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is expected to attend the funeral of Reese Fallon, who had died in the recent Toronto mass shooting, on Monday, media reports said.

Along with Trudeau, Toronto Mayor John Tory is expected to join the service at the Highland Funeral Home in Scarborough.

Fallon, 18, was one of the two people who were killed in the shooting, which took place at Danforth Avenue on July 22.

Thirteen others were injured in the shooting.

Fallon, a high school graduate, was planning to study at McMaster University in the fall.

The other deceased was Julianna Kozis, a 10-year old girl. She was a resident of Markham, Ontario.

Ontario police watchdog Special Investigations Unit (SIU) has identified the man behind Sunday’s shooting rampage as Faisal Hussain, 29.

The police said Hussain was found dead, with a gunshot wound, after an encounter with officers.

After attending the funeral, Trudeau will visit a parkette on the Danforth which has become a makeshift memorial for the victims of the shooting.
