Toronto, Sept 7 (IBNS): The Canadian government has revised travel advisory for traveling in Pakistan's Islamabad city and removed it from the list of “avoid non-essential travel” cities.

"Islamabad - Exercise a high degree of caution," read the Global Affairs Department of the country website.

"High Commissioner of Pakistan for Canada Tariq Azim had impressed upon the Canadian authorities to revise the advisory for Pakistan as the security situation in the country had improved significantly," reported Dawn News.

Pakistan witnessed a political transformation in recent times as new Prime Minister Imran Khan took oath last month.

Khan and his PTI scripted a major victory in the General Polls this year.
