Dhaka/IBNS: Two teen girls have been allegedly raped in Bangladesh's Dhaka city, media reports said on Monday.

According to reports, the incident occurred in Badda’s DIT Project area on Saturday.

Afterward, the victims were admitted to one-stop crisis centre of Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Sunday, reported bdnews24.

The families of the victims have reportedly initiated steps to file cases against three persons.

“One of them was supposed to meet with her boyfriend. Later, the girls were stopped on their way back home by three men. They alleged that they were taken to a secluded place in the Project area and raped," Badda Police Station OC Parvez Islam told bdnews24.

He said the boyfriend has been detained and interrogation is taking place.

Police are trying to arrest the three persons.
