Comilla: A 16-year-old girl was allegedly held captive and gang-raped in a Tisha Plus Paribahan bus in Bangladesh's Comilla region, media reports said on Saturday.

Police have arrested two people in connection with the incident.

They were identified as Arif Hossain Sohel and his assistant Babu Sheikh.

On Thursday, police produced the alleged rapists in court and sought a 7 day remand to determine other possible accomplices, Dhaka Tribune.

Police are reportedly searching for the third suspect in the incident who has been identified as Md Alam. He is a supervisor of the bus.

The girl's mother then filed a case against the three, with Comilla Sadar Dakshin Model Police Station, reports Dhaka Tribune.
