Bangladesh: Schoolboy hacked to death in Gazipur

Dhaka, July 9 (IBNS): Unidentified attackers hacked to death a school boy in Bangladesh's Gazipur city on Monday, media reports said.

The victim was identified as Shuvo Ahmed.

He was studying in ninth standard at Future Mak School in BSCIC area.

He was attacked in the BSCIC area.

Police went to the spot and recovered the body later.

The boy went out of his home around 9:00pm on Sunday to have a haircut, but did not return home, Kamal Hossain, officer-in-charge (OC) of Tongi East Police Station told The Daily Star.

The OC old the newspaper there were several injury marks of sharp weapons in the body and head, and they could not immediately figure out why he might be killed.
