Bangladesh: Police arrest man for harassing Australian Youtuber in Dhaka

Dhaka: The Bangladesh Tourist Police have detained a man for allegedly harassing and taking money from Australian travel vlogger Luke Damant.

The video of the incident has gone viral on the social media.

The detained person was identified as Abdul Kalu.

Tourist Police wrote on Facebook: "That man has been arrested. We always welcome our guests i.e. foreign tourists to our beautiful Bangladesh."

Damat reacted to the post and wrote in the comment section: "Thank you Bangladesh Tourist Police for keeping visitors safe.
I really appreciate your swift response, and ensuring that tourists have a pleasurable experience in your amazing country."

Damat shared the video of his interaction with the detained person Youtube and wrote: "Avoid This Man in Bangladesh! 🇧🇩."
