Bangladesh: Fire breaks out at Dhaka slum

Dhaka: A fire broke out at a slum in Bangladesh's capital Dhaka on Sunday.

According to reports, the fire broke out at  Beltola slum in the city.

Several firefighting units have been dispatched to the scene after reports of the fire came in at 4:30 pm, Khaleda Yasmin, the duty officer at the Fire Service Control Room told bdnews24.

“Once they reach the scene, we will know how the fire started and whether there were any casualties," Yasmin said.

No casualty has been reported so far.
