Bangladesh: Dhaka cylinder blast leaves four killed

Dhaka/IBNS: At least four children died as a gas cylinder blasted in Bangladesh capital Dhaka on Wednesday, media reports said.

The incident left five others hurt.

The blast occurred in Rupnagar Residential area in the city.

The gas cylinder exploded when a vendor was inflating a balloon near a school around 3:00 pm, leaving the four children dead on the spot and five others injured, Abdul Kalam Azad, officer-in-charge (OC) Rupnagar Police Station, told The Daily Star.

The injured people were rushed to hospital.

The identities of those killed in the tragedy is still not known.
