The data showed Balochistan witnessed one of the deadliest years of violence in recent years.

The report states that a total of 432 armed incidents were recorded across Balochistan during the year, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of people, including civilians and members of Pakistani security forces, while fear and uncertainty continued to grip the region, the newspaper reported.

According to the official statistics, the violence claimed the lives of 284 civilians and 205 security personnel, although earlier figures cited by authorities put the civilian death toll at 248.

The data showed the fragile security situation in the region.

The report showed the incidents severely disrupted normal life in Balochistan.
