Australians jailed for promoting gambling in China
Beijing, Jun 26 (IBNS): Chinese officials have jailed three Australian men for promoting gambling in mainland China, reports said.
All three are affiliated with Australian casino group Crown Resorts.
While reading out the verdict, the Baoshan District Court in Shanghai sentenced Jason O'Connor to 10 months in prison, while Jerry Xuan and Pan Dan will serve nine months each.
O'Connor, a senior executive was in charge of luring the Chinese gamblers, a BBC report read.
