Afghanistan: Taliban terrorist kills his father in Jawzjan

Kabul, Aug 28 (IBNS): A Taliban terrorist has murdered his father in Afghanistan's northern Jawzjan province, media reports said on Wednesday.

The 209th Shaheen Corps in the North, citing the local sources said in a statement that Fraidoon, one of the militants of Taliban in Jawzjan province killed his father on charges of supporting the government, Khaama Press reported.

The statement further added that the victim was also speaking against the activities of the Taliban militants, reported the news agency.

The sources told the news agency that the Taliban fighter escaped from the area after shooting his father to death.

The sources told Khaama Press that Fraidoon was fighting in Taliban ranks for the past several years and his father had severed ties with him.
