Kabul: Taliban insurgents have reportedly killed a child after his father was suspected to be a part of the Afghan Resistance Forces.

Panjshir Observer, an independent media covering the situation in Afghanistan, shared video of the child on its Twitter handle.

"GRAPHIC: Child executed in #Takhar province by Taliban fighters after his father is suspected of being in the Resistance. #WarCrimes #Afghanistan," read the tweet.

The Taliban took control over Afghanistan last month after entering Kabul on Aug 15.

The group started capturing cities after foreign forces decided to leave the nation.
