Afghanistan: Taliban commander Sher Lala killed in an airstrike

Kabul, Sept 7 (IBNS):  A Taliban commander and his comrades have been killed during an airstrike in Afghanistan's northern Kunduz province, media reports said on Saturday.

The 217th Pamir Corps said in a statement that the security forces conducted the airstrike in Chawk-e Khanabad on Friday, reported Khaama Press.

The statement further added that the airstrike killed Taliban commander Sher Lala and his five comrades, the news agency reported.
