Kabul, Jan 4 (IBNS): At least six terrorists were killed during an operation carried out by security forces in Tagab district of Afghanistan's central Kapesa province, media reports said on Friday.

The deceased included a Taliban local commander.

District Police Chief Mohammad Naeem Sapi told Pajhwok Afghan News the raid took place in the Dadezo locality on Thursday night at around 9:00 pm.

Khairullah, the resident of the locality, told the Afghanistan-based news agency that a large number of militants have been killed in the overnight operation.

“Commando forces have conducted a search operation in the Dadezo locality last night and left the area at around 3:00 am,” he said.
