Afghanistan: Security forces thwart explosion in Kabul
Kabul, Apr 10 (IBNS): The government in Afghanistan on Wednesday said security forces have thwarted an explosion in Kabul city.
According to a statement released by Ministry of Interior, the remote-controlled Improvised Explosive Device was planted on a roadside in the vicinity of 17th police district of the city, reported Khaama Press.
Khaama Press said that the statement said the Afghan National Police forces managed to defuse the bomb before the anti-government armed militants manage to detonate it.
The Taliban have not commented on the issue so far.
