Afghanistan: Security forces kill an attacker who shot dead a man in front of his infant daughter

Kandahar/IBNS: Afghanistan security forces have killed an attacker who shot dead a man in front of his infant daughter in the country's Kandahar province, media reports said on Monday.

The local officials confirmed that the National Directorate of Security personnel killed the assailant in Kandahar city on Friday night, reported Khaama Press.

Ahmad Bahir Ahmadi, a spokesman for the provincial government, told the news agency that the NDS forces killed the assailant in the 9th district of Kandahar city.

Five people have been reportedly arrested in connection with the incident.

The gunmen killed the man in Arghandab district of Kandahar province early on Thursday.
