Afghanistan: Police Commander killed in suicide attack

Kabul/UNI:  The Police Commander of Kuz Kunar district in the eastern state of Nangarhar in the terrorism-affected country of Afghanistan was killed on Tuesday, when a suicide bomber detonated his vehicle in the district market.

Spokesperson of the Nangarhar Governor Attaullah Khogyani confirmed that Police Commander of Kuz Kunar district, Mir Zaman, was killed in the suicide attack.

He said that two guards of the commander were also killed in the incident, TOLOnews reported.

According to Khogyani, 10 others were wounded in the incident. Till now, no militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the incident.
