Afghanistan: Mastermind of attack on private firm killed

Kabul, Mar 10 (IBNS): Intelligence force personnel have killed the mastermind of an attack on a private construction company’s office in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan, media reports said.

A week back, Daesh rebels had claimed responsibility for the attack, in which 16 employees of the EBE Company were killed and a number of others wounded, reported Pajhwok Afghan News.

Attaullah Khogyani, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the National Directorate of Security (NDS) Special Forces Unite conducted an operation in the Hazarnaw locality of Momand Dara district on Saturday night.

During the raid, he told the news agency, the NDS personnel killed Subhanulllah, who had organised the deadly attack in Behsud district. 

Several suspects were detained by forces.

Two Kalashnikovs, some explosives and hand grenades seized were seized from them.
