Afghanistan: Magnetic bomb blast leaves three wounded

Kabul, Feb 26 (IBNS): A magnetic bomb blast in Afghanistan's eastern Nangarhar province left at least three people wounded, media reports said.

Attaullah Khogyani, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the blast was triggered by a magnetic bomb attached to a police pick-up in Jalalabad at around 10am.

He said two civilians and one policeman were injured in the blast.

The injured people were shifted to hospital for treatment.

No group has claimed responsibility for the incident.

Pajhwok Afghan News reported that both Taliban and Islamic State militants are active in the province.
