Afghanistan: Gunmen kill prayer leader
Kabul, Sept 11 (IBNS): Unknown gunmen killed a prayer leader in Momand Dara district of eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan, media reports said on Sunday.
Momand Dara district chief Haji Nasim told Afghanistan's Pajhwok Afghan News the imam, Gul Bacha, was taken out of his home in Landi Basol area of the district on the night between Saturday and Sunday about 2am before being gunned down.
He led prayers at a mosque in the Nazyan district.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
