Afghanistan: Five civilians injured in central Uruzgan province blast

Kabul: Five civilians and two policemen were hurt as a  bomb-rigged motorcycle blasted in Afghanistan's central Uruzgan province on Tuesday, media reports said.

A security official told Pajhwok Afghan News the injured civilians included a woman.  The blast took place near a police vehicle in Tirinkot, the provincial capital at around 1pm.

Dr. Ziaur Rehman Niazi, the provincial hospital chief, confirmed to the news agency receiving seven injured people, including five civilians and two policemen from the scene.

No group has claimed responsibility for the incident so far.
