Kabul: An explosion rocked Afghanistan's Kabul city on Saturday which left at least three people, including a former presenter Yama Siawash, killed, media reports said.

Yama Siawash was a former TOLOnews presenter.

The explosion occurred at around 7.30 pm.

The explosion was a magnetic IED blast that targeted a vehicle carrying the former journalist and two others, according to police, reports Tolo News.

Police told the news portal that the explosion targeted a vehicle that belonged to the government-owned Central Bank.

The deceased people were reportedly employees of the Central Bank.

Esmatullah Kohsar, head of media office of the Central Bank, told Tolo News that Ahmadullah Anas, the operation deputy of the Central Bank, and Amin, a driver of the bank, were also killed in the explosion.
