Afghanistan: Death toll in Kabul blast touches 12

Kabul/IBNS: The death toll in the car bomb blast in Afghanistan's Kabul city has touched 12, media reports said on Friday.

The blast occurred on Wednesday.

At least 12 people, including three children, were killed in a car bomb in Kabul city on Wednesday, Nasrat Rahimi, an Interior Ministry spokesperson told Tolo News, adding that 20 others, including four foreigners, were wounded. 

The blast occurred in Qasaba area in Kabul city.

The Ministry of Interior also reported that the target of the Kabul blast was a vehicle owned by the firm GardaWorld Security Company. Four foreign employees of this company were wounded in the attack, reported the news portal.

No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
