Afghanistan: Blast leaves nine people injured

Kabul, Oct 30 (IBNS): A blast in Afghanistan's Asadabad area left at least nine people injured, media reports said.

Provincial police chief, Brig. Gen. Haq Nawaz Haqyar, told Pajhwok Afghan News the blast took place near the provincial court in Qazain Famili area of the city around 1pm.

He told the Afghanistan-based news agency that the nature of the blast is not known.

The injured people were taken to a hospital for treatment.

No group has claimed responsibility for the incident so far.
