
Afghanistan: Blast hits Mehtarlam town leaves 2 killed
Kabul: A magnetic bomb explosion on a police vehicle in Mehtarlam region of Afghanistan left two people killed, media reports said on Wednesday.
The blast left six people hurt.
A spokesman for Laghman’s governor, Asadullah Dawlatzai told Khaama Press that the blast took place Wednesday morning at the provincial police headquarters, killing eight people.
This comes despite the recent increase in the number of sticky mine blasts in Laghman province, the news agency reported.
