Afghanistan: Beheaded body of elderly man found in Jalalabad

Jalalabad: An elderly man was found beheaded in Afghanistan's Jalalabad city on Friday, Pajhwok Afghan News reported.

Local residents told the news agency the body was found in Elderly  Angorbagh locality in the city.

Afghanistan is witnessing a spike in violence ever since the Taliban overrun the country.

The Taliban captured Kabul on Aug 15.
