Afghanistan: ANP official arrested for handing over security post to Taliban
Kabul, Nov 10 (IBNS): An Afghan National Police (ANP) officer was arrested on Thursday for his alleged involvement in handing over security posts to the insurgent Taliban group, reports said.
The officer was arrested from the country's Uruzgan province, local Khaama Press quoted Afghan Ministry of Interior (MoI) officials as saying.
The officer had allegedly handed over the posts and weapons to the insurgents a few months ago.
