1 injured in Kabul explosion

Kabul, Mar 25 (IBNS) At least one person was wounded as an improvised explosive device went off in the vicinity of Macroryan area of Afghanistan capital Kabul on Friday, media reports said.

The area was cordoned off after the blast.

"A security official confirmed that the blast took place close to a park located near block#21 in 3rd Macroryan," Khaama Press tweeted.

Fridoon Obaidi, head of the Criminal Investigation Department as quoted as saying by Khaama Press that one person was slightly injured in the incident.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack  so far.
