The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) released data has shown gas charges have spiked by 1108.59 percent in the outgoing week of 2023 against the same week last year.

Islamabad:  The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Pakistani Cabinet on Monday approved up to 124 percent hike in the tariff of gas across the board for six months to implement a major prior condition set by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), media reports said.
