No quarantine in Turkey for 13-18 aged Indian travellers with negative PCR test

After the acceptance of Covaxin, post the nod of the Indian vaccine from WHO, Turkey now curbs the mandatory quarantine for travellers between the age of 13 to 18 years of age.

New Delhi: The Turkish Tourism Board in India shared that a total of 16 million International visitors arrived in Turkey in the year 2020 and the revenue that emerged from international tourism & visitors arrivals stood at $12.1 billion.  The  transcontinental country straddling Southeastern Europe and Western Asia is awaiting Indian tourists once the flight restrictions are lifted.

The Turkish Tourism Board in India revealed that between January & September this year, a total of 11.9 million International visitors arrived in Turkey. Turkey was amongst the first few countries to open its borders for tourism after  implementing stringent measures like Safe Tourism Certification to safeguard the health of tourists and those involved with touristic activities.

Istanbul/IBNS: An intact sundial from the Hellenistic era showing the seasons was recovered during the ongoing excavation and restoration work undertaken in the ancient city of Laodicea situated in Denizli, western Turkey.
