Himalaya Airlines starts Kathmandu-Beijing direct flights

Kathmandu: The H9665 flight operated by Himalaya Airlines took off from Kathmandu on Saturday morning and landed in Beijing about four hours later, marking the resumption of direct flights between the Nepali and Chinese capitals after a hiatus of three years.

Beijing/Xinhua/UNI:  Beijing is expected to host 44 million fewer tourists in the first quarter of this year than the same period last year, or an annual decrease of 70 percent, said Chen Dong, head of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism.
