India's first gay film 'Badnam Basti' found after 49 years, to screen at KASHISH 2020

Mumbai/IBNS: 'Badnam Basti', India's first gay film that was released in 1971 only to be lost to obscurity for around five decades, before it was found in a Berlin archive, will be scerened at KASHISH 2020.

Mumbai, May 09 (IBNS) French film Beats Per Minute and Indian film Evening Shadows - both award winners - will be the Opening and Closing films respectively at the 9th edition of KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival.

Mumbai, May 25 (IBNS): South Asia’s biggest and India’s only mainstream LGBTQ film festival – KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival – 8th Edition, opened on Wednesday with Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor gracing the festival along with Nisaba Godrej, Executive Chairperson, Godrej Consumer Products.
