Centre cancels foreign contribution licence of Rajiv Gandhi Foundation: Report

The Centre has cancelled the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) licence of the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation (RGF) and the Rajiv Gandhi Charitable Trust (RGCT), non-government organisations linked to the Gandhi family, over alleged irregularities in foreign contributions, according to media reports.

New Delhi/IBNS: The central government on Wednesday set up a committee to coordinate a probe into violation of various legal provisions of Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002, by the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, Rajiv Gandhi Charitable Trust and Indian Gandhi Memorial Trust.
