Jammu and Kashmir: Rajouri getting roads under PMGSY

Rajouri: Remote areas of Kalakote in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir is now getting roads for the first time since the country got independence in 1947 under the  Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY).

New Delhi: The  Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) left people living  in the remotest hilly areas in the Kalakote subdivision in Rajouri happy by taking crucial steps like road connectivity and generating employment opportunities.

New Delhi, Dec 28 (IBNS): The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved a centrally-sponsored scheme called "Road Connectivity Project for Left Wing Extremism (LWE) Affected Areas" to improve the rural road connectivity in the worst LWE affected districts from security angle.
