Mamata-Army standoff: TMC MLAs demonstrate at governor's place over military exercise in West Bengal

Kolkata, Dec 2 (IBNS): Following West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee hit out at the centre over an alleged army deployment in state's toll plazas without her government's knowledge, several MLAs of Trinamool Congress (TMC), including Partha Chatterjee, Subrata Mukherjee, Firhad Hakim, Jyotipriya Mullick and Purnendu Basu, hosted sit-in-demonstration on the issue at Raj Bhaban (governor's place) in Kolkata on Friday.
