Karnataka DGP not transferred after Mamata Banerjee's complaint over traffic fiasco: CM Kumaraswamy

Bengaluru, May 25 (IBNS): Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy has clarified to say that DGP Neelamani Raju was not transferred following West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's complaint against the first ever woman police chief of the state over traffic fiasco in Bengaluru on Wednesday, media reports said.

Bengaluru, May 25 (IBNS): After West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had complained against Karnataka DGP Neelamami Raju over the traffic fiasco on the swearing-in day of Janata Dal (Secular) leader HD Kumaraswamy as the Chief Minister,  the first ever woman police chief of Karnataka was transferred on Tuesday, triggering a wave of condemnation on social media, reports said.
